KEYNOTE SPEAKER: John DiAntonio

John DiAntonio is the Artistic Director of the Tony Award-winning Utah Shakespeare Festival. He was the former Producing Artistic Director of Creede Repertory Theatre (CRT) in Colorado. DiAntonio has a passion for developing new work and was fundamental in the creation and development of the Headwaters New Play Festival. He worked for many years as an actor, director, and playwright based in New York and Los Angeles. His acting and directing credits include the Utah Shakespeare Festival, Denver Center Theatre Company, Theatreworks, New Dramatists, Creede Repertory Theatre, Arvada Center, Butterfly Effect Theatre Company, Local Theatre Company, Lone Tree Arts Center, Shakespeare Orange County, Cleveland Play House, Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, and more. DiAntonio has had ten original plays produced, including five that have toured around the Southwest. He grew up in Pittsburgh, earning his BA from Case Western Reserve University and his MFA from the National Theatre Conservatory. In addition to theatrical work, John shot his debut feature film, "What She Carried," throughout the San Juan Mountains during the height of the pandemic.
